Goat’s Disease And Treatment

Anthrax :
Anthrax is caused by bacillus anthracite bacteria. This germ enter in goat’s body by food, water and air. Symptoms is found within 1-5 days after entering the germ in body. Sometimes goat die without any symptoms by the disease
Symptoms :
 Suddenly stop to take food. Body temperature can be 41 degree Celsius. Affected goat cant breathe properly.
Treatment :
Improve hygiene. Application of antibiotics

Pneumonia :
An acute or chronic disease marked by inflammation of the lungs and caused by viruses, bacteria, or other microorganisms and sometimes by physical and chemical irritants.
Symptoms :
The signs and symptoms of pneumonia and pneumonia are usually nonspecific consisting of fever, chills, shortness of breath, and chest pain. Fever and chills are more frequently associated with infectious pneumonia but may also be seen in pneumonia.
Treatment :

Enterotoxemia :
This disease is caused by clostridium spp. Bacteria.
symptoms :
Affected goat die suddenly. Restlessness, scratching, loss of weight.
reduction in milk yield.


Treatment :
Application of proper chemical as a dust, spray or a dip.
Worm infestation :
Little goat is affected more than adult goat by the disease.
Symptoms :
Although worms in the intestine usually cause no symptoms, some experience upper abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite.
Treatment :
worms are treated with medications taken by mouth, usually in a single dose. The drug of choice for tapeworm infections is niclosamid. praziquantel and albendazole can also be used.
